Lions Summer University: Global Humanitarian Leadership
Target group
This course is designed to turn students into leaders in the field of humanitarian aid.
Objectives
Providing skills for leaders helping during humanitarian emergencies where success must be achieved despite working in chaotic, often physically challenging and possibly unsafe environments.
With course contributions from high-level representatives in a variety of relevant disciplines, students gain an understanding of new trends in humanitarian affairs and in strategic initiatives needed to improve the analysis, mitigation, response and delivery of humanitarian assistance in the future.
By the end of the course students should have gained skills in the following areas:
