Further education
The further education activities at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences are to date composed of a variety of approaches. Thus, for example, further education models are developed at the university which address graduates who are already working and which foresee an opportunity to obtain additional qualifications and certificates. The supplementary course in "Practical management and marketing" is the most successful further education measure at university level so far. Furthermore, in the area of further education a targeted effort is being made to establish co-operation partnerships with small and medium-sized enterprises in the framework of which special further education opportunities are developed. Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, as a modern further education institution, sees itself as an open-minded partner for the economic community in the solution of scientific and technical problems. It is in this sense that further education at university level must also be understood.
