In the summer semester in 2008 the Women’s Representatives Office was set up at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven. With lots of commitment members of the Central Commission for Women’s Issues at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven (ZKFF) took the responsibility for the establishment of the Women’s Representative Office. The team accompanies and advises women at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven along their career and study with professional and social competences.
The members promote and demand equal opportunities at all levels. An extensive range of offers ensures especially the counselling and support concerning issues of study, career and qualification. Furthermore, the focus is also the conflict intervention as well as the promotion and networking of women. For this purpose, comprehensive information service is provided through brochures, homepage, email newsletter and notice board. All offers of the Women’s Representative Office are intended for female scientists and students as well as female employees working in technology, library and administration.
