Graduates of the ISSM course are able to perform tasks at middle and upper management level both nationally and internationally in the field of danger prevention and risk management. They are in a position to plan, organise and further develop the safety systems necessary, to adapt them to continuously changing framework parameters as well as to deploy them in an emergency. In addition, graduates display personnel management skills both in normal circumstances as well as when there is disturbance or even disaster. These abilities are in demand to an every greater degree across all fields, in the maritime sector, in industry and trade as well as at senior levels in the public sector and in private organisations (authorities and organisations concerned with safety tasks). In addition, graduates are able to take on qualified tasks in the logistics sector where they are also predestined for management tasks in the area of safety and security.
