Course structure

The Bachelor course in Production Engineering lasts seven terms. In the first three terms, the basic principles of Mathematics, Physics, Technical Mechanics, Materials Science and Electrical Engineering and Design Construction are taught. This basic knowledge forms the foundation for the following terms. After the third term, students have the possibility to choose between the following two course options:

  • Manufacturin Engineering
  • Mechatronic Engineering / Automation Engineering

The course content is structured so that it leads to specialisation and the acquisition of consolidated know-how in the selected course option and is the ideal basis for the practical placement foreseen in the fifth term. This takes place in an industrial manufacturing enterprise. The objective of this practical term is to apply the knowledge gained and also to practice team work and project management.
