Interested students need to be officially nominated by their home university before submitting their application.

  • Certificate of English Proficiency B2 level (if applying for courses taught in English and if not mother tongue)
  • Certificate of German Proficiency B2 level (if applying for courses taught in German and not mother tongue)

Winter semester: early October - late January
Summer semester: early March - late June

Please note: The university of Applied Sciences Upper Austria is divided into 4 different campuses and departments. Students can only take courses from the campus they are admitted to. Exchange students can only be nominated to the campus stated in the partner agreement. Each campus has its own International Office.

Further Information

Students are responsible to have their own health insurance. Each international students will be put into contact with a local student (buddy) before arrival. Buddies will help the incoming students with setting up bank accounts, food shopping, tours, etc. Accommodation differs between the campuses - please view the Fact Sheet below for more information.
