Applicants with EU University entrance qualification

Apply - but how? Step by step to a successful Bachelor application (University entrance qualification obtained in EU)

1.  Register on our ecampus-application-portal: For the summer semester 2022 intake the application deadline is February 15th 2022. 
   a.     Switch to English version via the button on the lower right hand side
   b.     Click on the "application" button
   c.     Now you can start your self-registration

2.   During the application process you will be asked to upload documents as well as (if required or available) apply for hardship, disadvantage compensation, etc.

           a.      For non-admission-restricted bachelor programmes, there is an enrollment guarantee if
                the necessary university entrance qualification (HZB) is available.

           b.      For admission-restricted bachelor study programmes (BWL, DMP and GIF only), only those will
                receive an offer of admission who achieve a certain grade point average. This is determined on 
                the basis of the applications received.

3.  Status messages: You will receive status notifications by e-mail as soon as your status changes. If, for example, you receive the status message "provisionally excluded", please check whether you have uploaded all documents.

4.  Admission offers or rejections will be forwarded continuously 

5.  After accepting the offer, you must complete the application process via your account in our ecampus portal by clicking on "Accept" under "Your study offers".

6. Application for enrollment: Now you will be directed to a page with information about the semester fee (amount and account details) - below this box you will find the button "print application for enrollment" - please click on it and print the form.

             a.  Send this form signed by you together with the above mentioned documents by mail to us.

7.  Enrollment: Upon receipt, the semester documents (certificate of enrollment, semester ticket) will now be generated and sent to you by postal service. If you don't reside in Germany the documents will be forwarded as soon as you have informed your respective admissions officer about your address in Germany. IMPORTANT: A separate letter of confirmation that we have received your documents and/or money transfer will not be issued!

The application process is basically analogous to a bachelor's application. However, the admission process differs, as the respective study committees will have to review and assess your application documents. You will be informed of the result by the responsible admission officer.
