Applicants with EU University entrance qualification

Apply - but how? Step by step to a successful Bachelor application (University entrance qualification obtained in EU)

1.  Registration via For the winter semester 2021/22, please register at Hochschulstart for all Bachelor programs. Here you will receive an applicant ID (BID) as well as a BAN. Application deadline is July 31 2021.
   a.     Click on the tap "Bewerberportal"
   b.     Scroll down to "weiter zum Bewerbungsportal"
   c.     Now you can switch to Englisch (upper right side) and register your account

2.   With the BID and BAN generated during the registration you can now continue on our own ecampus application portal - register on - your basic data from were automatically transferred to our portal.

3.  Upload documents: On ecampus you can now upload your documents as well as (if required or available) apply for hardship, disadvantage compensation, etc.

           a.      For non-admission-restricted study programmes, there is an enrollment guarantee if the
                   necessary university entrance qualification (HZB) is available.

           b.      For admission-restricted study programmes (BWL, DMP and GIF), only those will receive an offer
                   of admission who achieve a certain grade point average. This is determined on the basis of the
                   applications received.

4.  Status messages: You will receive status notifications by e-mail as soon as your status changes. If, for example, you receive the status message "provisionally excluded", please check whether you have uploaded all documents.

6.  Offer acceptance: If you receive an offer of admission, you must ACTIVELY accept it at Upon acceptance, all further offers of admission (in the case of multiple applications) will be automatically deleted.

7.  Completion of the application process: After accepting the offer, you must complete the application process via your account in our ecampus portal by clicking on "Accept" under "Your study offers".

8. Application for enrollment: Now you will get to a page with information about the semester fee (amount and account details) - below this box you will find the button "print application for enrollment" - please click on it and print the form.

             a.  Send this form signed by you together with the above mentioned documents by mail to us.

9.  Enrollment: Upon receipt, the semester documents (certificate of enrollment, semester ticket) will now be generated and sent to you by mail. A separate confirmation of receipt will not be sent.
