"I did my first cruise with AIDAaura in 2004 and was very impressed and got curious about the cruise business. As I heard about CIM the decision to study was made and I started CIM in 2006. The whole study course was very informative and linked the tourism and cruise industry with economics, which was very interesting. As we did many projects in teams and presented them to our fellow students my personal skills, such as rhetoric, teamwork and self-organization, were developed and improved. My internship at Sartori & Berger in the cruise department paved my future career path. Today I am working as a manager in the same field. I am responsible for transit and turnaround calls of cruise ships in German ports. My job combines planning and organizations in the office with the supervision of the whole operation at the pier including leading a team of 36 people every call. I have a job that I love and CIM was the foundation."

"I really enjoyed the diversified focus of the programme. Next to the well established economic courses of business and management there are various courses in the field of tourism, law and social studies. Moreover, I highly appreciated the small group size. Students are not just numbers, but individuals with a name and face. You can talk to the professors in person and they treat your questions and needs seriously. It was definitely the right decision for me!"

"Working in tourism was always what I wanted to do. CIM seemed to be a good opportunity to improve my skills - and I never felt sorry about deciding to quit a safe job and go studying. Compared to other universities, the Hochschule Bremerhaven is relatively small, so it didn't take long until I felt 'at home'. Almost all lectures were held in English which was another decisive argument for me to join CIM - I see it as a great opportunity to lay the foundation for a future career in international tourism companies. I would always recommend CIM to prospective students because it combines solid business studies with examples from real tourism and cruise industry life."
