First "Summer Campus" at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences attracts with flea market and music
Public event on Saturday, 24 June, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For one day, Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences will be a place of excursions for everyone. On Saturday, 24 June, the university's first "Summer Campus" will take place. A flea market, music and coffee and cake await visitors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the campus grounds (An der Karlstadt 8, 27568 Bremerhaven).
A leisure atmosphere instead of a learning atmosphere: At the "Summer Campus" you can relax and celebrate. The student café "StuCa" and the Bremerhaven organic bakery "Findus" will provide the culinary supplies. A special beer tasting will be offered by the brewing group of the Food Technology/Food Economics (LTW) course. Here, various home-brewed beers can be tested.
Visitors can find a bargain or two at the flea market. Students and university staff will be looking for a new home for things they no longer need themselves. In case of bad weather, the flea market will take place in the university refectory.
Those interested in studying will also get their money's worth: lecturers and students will offer guided campus tours on the various fields of interest as part of the "Walk&Talk" information event from 10 am to 3 pm. The detailed programme can be found at www.hs-bremerhaven.de/walk.
