What is social work about?
Open lecture series starts on Wednesday, 3 May
The Social Work programme at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences cordially invites all interested parties to the open lecture series in the THP building (Theodor-Heuss-Platz 1, Bremerhaven). On seven dates, academics will report on what they are working on in their research. Prof. Dr. Antje Handelmann will begin on Wednesday, 3 May, from 1:45 to 3:15 pm, with her lecture "'I never knew [...] exactly what I wanted to do'. On the reconstruction of young people's career search processes". Participation is free of charge and possible without prior registration. The lecture series takes place as part of the course "Introduction to Social Research" in the Social Work programme at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences. Students and anyone else interested will gain an insight into current quantitative and qualitative research in various areas of social work. The speakers will also answer questions about their areas of expertise.
