Higher Education Entrance Qualification
Essential requirement for the admission into the CTM programme is the successful acquirement of a higher education entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife, High School Diploma, A-Levels, Baccalaureat, Gao Kao, etc.). Non-European applicants might need to apply via UNI-ASSIST. Please contact the Registration and Examination Office for further information.
Language Qualifications
As the language of instruction is English prospective students must present an official language certificate within the first semester of studies. Language skills must correspond to the level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Possible English tests are CAE, IELTS, TOEFL, the test from the Fremdsprachenzentrum der Hochschulen im Land Bremen or equivalent tests.
Students who cannot provide the required language certificate before the end of their first semester will be exmatriculated.
To ensure that the course runs smoothly, German language skills are required. Foreign students who did not acquire their higher education entrance qualification in Germany must provide proof of German language skills corresponding to the level B1.
Possible German tests are TestDaf, DSH, tests from the Goethe Institut or equivalent tests.
