Wind of Change – New Energy Technologies

Target group

The course covers the related basics of wind turbine technology and other fields of advanced high technologies. Therefore the seminar aims especially at engineering students and other technically interested students, who wish to extend their knowledge in new energy and other technologies.

Objectives

Wind energy is a complex and manifold technology and requires a sound knowledge to understand its multi - disciplinary technique. Consequently, this part of the summer school aims at understanding the interplay of the various fields of engineering which are necessary to start an employment in the field of wind energy and other regenerative energy technologies. The lectures are given by lecturers with years of practical experience in the field of wind energy and other high technology areas, so that the basic knowledge is conveyed and will enable participants to become a better understanding of the correlation between technology and its application.
