"Become a Buddy, live free of charge!"

Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences is looking for student "education buddies" for pupils

Students at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences can support young people on their educational journey and live rent-free at the same time. As "education buddies", they take on the role of learning mentor for a student at the Bremerhaven school on Ernst-Reuter-Platz (ERNST!) and in return receive one of four places in the STÄWOG Bremerhaven student residence free of charge. The project is supported by the Dieckell Foundation and the Netzwerk Schule, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft für die Region Unterweser e.V.. The "education buddies" will spend twenty hours a month with pupils in years five to seven, helping them with more than just problems with the subject matter. Those interested must be enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences or the University of Bremen. A matriculation number is required. The cancellation period is one month.
