Back to home port: Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences hosts first Alumni Homecoming Day
Registration open until 15 September
Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences cordially invites its former students to the first Alumni Homecoming Day. Under the motto ‘Back to Home Port’, they will have the opportunity to meet up with former fellow students and lecturers, make use of the university's network and visit their alma mater once again on Saturday, 27 September, from 9:30 a.m. in House T. Interested alumni can register until 15 September at www.hs-bremerhaven.de/homecoming.
‘We are very pleased to welcome our alumni back to Bremerhaven,’ says Alena Lobes, employee of the Career Service Centre and one of the organisers of the event. ‘The alumni meeting is a wonderful opportunity to maintain contacts, exchange experiences and strengthen ties with the university.’
The day event offers a varied programme, including a welcome by the Rector of Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Alexis Papathanassis, a generational dialogue on current topics in research and teaching, a relaxed get-together with opportunities for networking and reunions, and finally an exclusive campus tour.
The evening will be a little more festive: Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences invites you to the ‘Captains Lounge’ alumni soirée. What makes it special is that alumni can round off the evening in a museum-like atmosphere from 6:30 p.m. onwards. Old memories will be shared over food and drinks at the German Maritime Museum.
Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences is proud of its diverse alumni network, which spans various industries and disciplines. The event aims to further strengthen the relationships between alumni and the university, promote the exchange of knowledge and experience, and develop further event formats with the alumni.
