STEM taster week for schoolgirls in Years 9 and 10 during the summer holidays
Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences invites schoolgirls to ‘Campus:MINT’ from 7 July to 11 July
Registration deadline is 23 June
Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences is inviting schoolgirls in Years 9 and 10 and the E phase to a special taster week under the motto ‘Expand your horizons’. At the ‘Campus:MINT’ event from 7 to 11 July, from 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day, participants will find out what studying science and technology at the university can be like. The programme includes insights into various degree courses and exciting experiments. Registration is possible until 23 June at www.hs-bremerhaven.de/campusmint. The participation fee is 20 euros. Places are limited.
The Campus:MINT week is part of the MINTsteps project and is funded by the BMBF.
One of its aims is to break down stereotypes and introduce girls and young women to STEM professions and degree programmes.
