Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences gives a stage to diverse stories

Poetry slam on Tuesday, 27 May, from 6 pm

As part of Diversity Day 2025, Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences is hosting a poetry slam in the event room (Building T, Room 002, An der Karlstadt 8, Bremerhaven). On Tuesday, 27 May, from 6 p.m., people will share their personal stories under the motto ‘Voices for Diversity’. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend. The event is barrier-free. Admission is free. Admission is from 5.30 pm.

At a poetry slam, slammers present texts they have written themselves within a certain time. The aim is to showcase the diversity of society at the university. ‘As part of Diversity Day, we are celebrating a special poetry slam under the motto #VoicesforDiversity - without a competition, but with plenty of room for personal stories, experiences and perspectives on the topic of diversity,’ says Nina Beinßen from the organisation team.
