Kick-off for new poster project with Ströer

Studies

Business administration students design motifs for Stadtbäckerei Engelbrecht and bremenports

This year's joint poster project between the business administration programme at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences and the media company Ströer has started. At the kick-off event, the clients, Stadtbäckerei Engelbrecht and bremenports, presented their requirements for the campaigns to the students. On 3 July, the eleven student teams will present their finished ideas. The winning motifs will be displayed on Ströer advertising spaces in Bremerhaven at the beginning of August. The patron of the project is Mayor Torsten Neuhoff.

The customers have focussed on their employer brands for the poster campaigns. The student teams, known as ‘agencies’ in the project, will be working on poster motifs on the topics specified by the clients over the coming weeks. They will receive weekly coaching from their marketing professor Prof Dr Birte Kemmerling and media consultants from Ströer. "The studi agencies compete with each other because only one poster motif per customer wins in the end. The designs will be presented in the form of a pitch in front of Stadtbäckerei Engelbrecht and bremenports at the university. Mayor Torsten Neuhoff will also be present. After that, it will be decided which motifs will make it onto the advertising spaces," explains Prof Dr Birte Kemmerling.
