Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences bids farewell to 217 graduates

In a festive ceremony, Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences bid farewell to 217 graduates – 113 in Faculty 1 and 104 in Faculty 2. In the presence of teachers, fellow students, families and friends, many of them received their certificates in person and took the opportunity to toast their successful graduation together. 

"Despite all the challenges, I look to the future with confidence. Because today I see people who have learned to think, act and take responsibility. If you act instead of just criticising, if you remain courageous and generous in your judgement, then you will be successful. And what's more, you will achieve lasting success. My thanks go to your families and friends who have supported you, and to my colleagues who have accompanied you," said Rector Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Alexis Papathanassis as he bid farewell to the graduates and called on them to continue to act in a value-oriented manner in the future and to focus not only on performance and efficiency in their lives, but also on moderation and balance. ‘Follow your path with courage, responsibility and confidence. We are proud of you!’
