Free workshop for students Discrimination, misunderstanding, or just fun?
In our free workshop, we want to work together to clarify how situations with potential for discrimination can be assessed during your studies, what exactly discrimination is, what forms it takes, and also why people can hurt or exclude others without knowing or wanting to. We will look at how helpful it is to take a closer look at backgrounds, structures, and dynamics in order to assess situations well and then act appropriately. The goal is to improve communication and action skills in everyday university life and beyond.
The workshop combines short theoretical inputs with exchange and reflection. Learning does not work without stumbling, which is why we work with a benevolent and error-friendly attitude. A day for more togetherness, which, despite the serious topic, can be lighthearted, empowering, and enjoyable.
Whether you have already dealt with the topic extensively or are completely new to it, you are very welcome to join us.

To ensure that we don't overlook your interests or calendars when planning, we want to work with you to find a date—and, if you like, to determine the content. Send an email to gleichstellung(at)hs-bremerhaven.de by February 20, and we will send you a poll to find a date.
