Since the summer semester of 2025, I have been studying Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership (GIF) at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, and I am delighted to be able to accompany you as your study mentor as you embark on your studies. My own path to GIF was anything but conventional: I originally studied to become a teacher, as it had always been my wish to support people and teach them something. For a long time, economic topics were not at all in the foreground for me until I came across GIF. Here I found a concept that perfectly combines my educational interests with modern, practical learning.

What makes GIF so special for me is the Finnish study system, which differs significantly from traditional lectures.
Instead of dry theory, you can expect a high degree of practical relevance. From the very beginning, we work in a student cooperative, gain our own economic experience and put our own ideas directly into practice. For me, teamwork is an absolute highlight. Developing solutions together, taking responsibility and learning from each other shapes my entire everyday student life and helps me especially in intensive phases such as exam time.
