More about me
After my apprenticeship as an optician, I was looking for a bachelors degree program in which I could roughly use what I had just learned. That wasn't easy at all as I was looking for something technical combined with the medical care of people. After a lot of research and consideration, I came across Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences and medical technologies. Et voilà, MT is the perfect degree program for me as a curious, technically interested person who likes to deal with bodily processes and the resulting possibilities.
Actually the technical part of the program playes a major part during the whole period of study! Even though the entire programms content is fundamentally based on the human body, diseases and the physical appearance, it's always closely linked to technical knowledge and industrial materials.
I really enjoy studying at my university. The atmosphere is always family-like, supportive and almost feels village-like to me. Thanks to the many labs, learning is not characterized by monotone lectures but is tangible, practical and exciting. Bremerhaven itself is not a big city, but still offers many great opportunities to spend some fun time with friends, relax and enjoy the fresh breeze of the North Sea.
