The International Office (IO) supports internationalisation at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences. This is where university partnerships and contacts with organisations that promote international exchange are maintained. Lecturers who would like to initiate new co-operations or plan a teaching stay at a partner university will find support here.
The International Office advises and supports students in organising a study-related stay abroad and accompany them before, during and after the mobility programme. We provide students with valuable tips and information on the various funding options, application deadlines, as well as information material on partner universities, countries and language courses. We regularly organise information sessions to inform students about current offers and formalities.
The International Office is also the central point of contact for foreign students who would like to complete either an exchange semester or an entire degree programme at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences. Even before their arrival in Bremerhaven, international students receive a lot of helpful information from the International Office to ensure a good start at the university. On site, students are then supported in dealing with the necessary formalities, finding accommodation and other questions about living and studying in Bremerhaven. The excursions and events organised by us offer exchange opportunities and help students to settle into their new country and university.
